GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2

SUBJECT: Transferring the Administration and Control of Turtles to the Parks and Wildlife Office and for Other Purposes.

Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 4 and 7 of Act No. 4003, as amended, the administration, control and supervision of turtles, turtle eggs, turtle shells in the Philippines is hereby transferred to the Parks and Wildlife Office from the Philippine Fisheries Commission.

SEC. 1. The Parks and Wildlife Office is hereby directed to designate and define the appropriate areas necessary to conserve this resource.

SEC. 2. Repealing Provisions.---All orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this General Administrative Order are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. Date of Effectivity.--- This General Administrative Order shall take effect immediately.
